Training that is aimed to improve flexibility and range of movement around the joints. It has been proved to make you less susceptible to muscle strains or other injuries not only during workouts, but also while performing usual day-to day motions. Tense and tight muscles can lead to poor posture, and stretching helps to correct it. Moreover, stretching increases blood flow to the muscles and therefore brings more nutrients to them, reduces soreness and speeds up recovery.
